Chapter Twelve

Sincere

I woke up earlier than usual to start my day. I had to go by the tattoo shop to sit in on a few interviews. I really wasn’t in the mood for this today, because my schedule was full for the day. I had to go by the dry cleaning spot, the soul food spot to check the books, and collect the money to deposit into the bank the next morning. I had to go by the new spot to make sure my mom was good with the furniture and the movers. I was happy to be on my own. I bought out the entire floor moved my nigga Dean in one apartment, my sister in the other. Jay decided that he would stay with her from time to time to help her out.

At first he was about to move in with some girl he was fucking out here in New Haven. With everything going on these last past few weeks. I forgot to call Rob let him know to call the-connect. I called him as I drove to the shop told him to meet me at the restaurant later tonight to talk. He agreed so we ended the call. Thirty minutes later, I was sitting at my desk in my office at the shop waiting for Jessica my head manager to get in. It was her first day back from a two-week vacation. I made sure she had a busy day. She had at least six interviews I was only staying for two. I had to go across town to the cleaners, I would stop at the soul food restaurant first being that it was only up the block.

I thought about opening a club called Diamond. There were few money-maker spot out here in the Port besides the Downtown area. I would have to shop around for a good location. I had to make sure I stayed in business, up to code with the spot I already had. I was also looking into real estate. I wanted to own a few houses before my twenty-first birthday. I wanted to know all there was to know about real estate. I took a class on it, first I had to get right with Rob connect. It was time to set things in motion, it was time to get this money take over these streets.

These little niggas was not eating right on the streets. I was about to fill they bellies until they couldn’t eat anymore. These days you had to buy loyalty with the right money. I would earn the loyalty of all these street niggas. I would teach them some shit these old cats couldn’t teach them. That was to stay out of jail. I made my way to the office to speak to with Stella. She was an older woman in her late thirties. She was five-nine thick, with dark brown eyes, and a beautiful smile. She runs the kitchen mostly cooking sometimes she ran the frontend. She is one of the hardest working employees I have.
